Co-founders Mariska Breland and Roxanna Hakimi created Fuse Ladder to reimagine how people move, train, and experience fitness.
After years of running Fuse Pilates, one of Washington, DC’s most popular studios, they recognized that clients were craving more - something that went beyond the traditional Pilates format and offered a fresh approach to functional movement.
Inspired to make Pilates-style training more accessible and dynamic, Mariska began developing a method that could meet the needs of everyone: from athletes chasing performance to clients rebuilding strength through rehabilitation.
With studio owners in mind, the design focused on being sleek, space-saving, and affordable, making it as practical as it is powerful. Once the apparatus came to life, Mariska crafted a library of creative, ever-evolving workouts designed for every level, in studios and at home. The result wasn’t just a piece of equipment, but the beginning of an entirely new genre of training.
